It can be used in conjunction with all forms of traditional medicine without conflict. Reiki is based in two Japanese kanji (characters). Rei meaning Spirit or Soul and Ki meaning vital energy. Regardless of your understanding of this energy, it can be felt and changed in various ways. If your level of ki is low, you’re more likely to feel stress and get sick.
